He has a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship and has been at the forefront of several emerging global trends in commercial space flight, predictive analytics, energy, and financial services throughout his career. After completing his Ph.D. in Management Science & Engineering at Stanford University, Frederick was a founder of Rotary Rocket Company and Data Digest. He went on to be a Managing Director at Llenroc Capital and Managing Partner at Decision Strategies, Inc. where he oversaw multi-billion-dollar investment projects in the energy industry. At FTL, Frederick oversees the company and its projects. He builds strategic partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders and manages the growing team. He plays a key role in developing innovative new strategies for FTL’s most challenging projects. Glen is an expert in finance, risk management, and insurance. He believes that innovation isn’t just something that you should develop, it should define the way that you work. As a result, throughout his career, he has developed unique techniques for financing the world’s most exciting projects. He has worked at the convergence of finance, risk management, and insurance throughout his career. While Senior VP at Willis Corroon Inspace, Glen invented risk mitigated project finance. He also applied his techniques at several leading satellite infrastructure companies such as COMSAT and Intelsat. At FTL, Glen focuses on space and energy projects. He is instrumental in derisking the projects we develop and working with our partners to identify and eliminate the roadblocks between them and their futures. Ellika Jackman stands among the elite as a distinguished business leader, strategist, and speaker, bringing over twenty years of global experience to the table. Her expertise has seen her collaborate with political and business powerhouses alike, transforming visionary ideas into successful, profit-generating brands. With a substantial track record in strategic consulting, Ellika’s influence extends over fifteen countries, crafting success stories for government bodies, tech startups, and financial entities. Her innovative prowess has not only won her awards but also allowed her to work with esteemed companies like Philip Morris, Nestlé, Gallaher creating products that might already be part of your life. Ellika’s professional drive is anchored in her zeal to transform brands into strategic leaders and industry icons. Merging strategy with her creative flair, rooted in a diverse background spanning art to fashion, Ellika is skilled at harnessing consumer insights and trend forecasts to pioneer standout business strategies. Her commitment shines in her pursuit to unveil and maximize a brand’s market potential. Jerry is an insurance specialist with over 40 years of experience in risk and finance. He is passionate about innovation and has worked at the forefront of innovative aerospace insurance throughout his career. Jerry started his career in the aerospace industry as an aircraft engineer, before transferring his skill set to aviation insurance. Before joining FTL, Jerry was Aviation Claims Director, and then Managing Director of the Space Division at Willis. He has also held senior management positions at Allianz and QBE. At FTL, Jerry leads the team identifying opportunities and potential strategic partnerships—particularly around how to manage risk. He develops and manages the relationships between FTL and some of its key partners. Jerry plays a crucial role in understanding partners’ needs and identifying ways to meet them. Dana Al Salem is a luminary in the global tech and innovation landscape, whose journey commenced in the digital media realm in 1994. As a freshly minted Summa Cum Laude graduate from AUP and Parsons School of Design, Dana co-founded Clockwork, a pivotal Stockholm-based agency that led interactive digital platforms and was acquired within six years. Her pioneering spirit propelled her to co-found Yahoo! France and subsequently Yahoo! Europe, where she was instrumental in the rollout of 40 online services. Transitioning to television in London, Dana’s expertise in on-air audience retention earned her two World Gold Promax awards by 2005. A beacon for innovation, Dana’s most recent endeavors include spearheading a MedTech company amidst the global health crisis and championing initiatives for women’s empowerment through a specialized investment fund. As a Grand Jury Member and Special Advisor to various governments and organizations, she continues to lend her voice and expertise to the global dialogue on technology, all while fostering education for young women worldwide and holding esteemed positions on multiple advisory boards.
