I worked with Dennis at Texas Instruments in Lewisville, Texas 1984-1986. We worked for AWP (Advanced Weapons Programs) which was part of DSEG (Defense Systems Electronics Group). Dennis was a very respected engineer. He was supervisor of one of my best friends on the AAWS-M (Autonomous Acquisition Weapon System) project for DARPA which became "Thirsty Saber" and eventually evolved into the revered Javelin anti-tank weapon which performed so well in the early days of the war in Ukraine.
