DIRECTORY OF SOVIET OFFICIALS: SCIENCE AND EDUCATION - A REFERENCE AID
Central Intelligence Agency, Washington, D.C.
Publication Date: May 1989
Document Code: LDA 89-11378 (Supersedes LDA 87-11012)
U.S. Department of Commerce, National Technical Information Service (NTIS PB89-928109)
Preface:
The Directory of Soviet Officials identifies individuals who hold positions in selected party, government, scientific, and public organizations of the USSR. It may be used to find either the incumbents of an organization or the positions of given individuals. For some organizations, it serves as a guide to the internal structure of the organization.
Coverage: This publication supersedes Directory of Soviet Officials: Science and Education (LDA 87-11012, May 1987). It identifies individuals who hold positions in or are members of selected scientific and educational organizations. It is one of a three-part series; the other volumes deal with national- and republic-level organizations. Because of the broad scope of the Science and Education Directory, the level of coverage within any particular organization is necessarily limited; most organizations listed herein are covered only through the level of director.
