Linda Moulton Howe is a graduate of Stanford University with a Masters Degree in Communication. She has devoted her documentary film, television, radio, web, writing and reporting career to productions concerning science, medicine, the environment and Earth mysteries. Today she is Reporter and Editor of the award-winning Science, Environment and Real X-Files news website Earthfiles.com, a large online chronological archive of nearly 3,000 in-depth reports with thousands of images covering science, the environment and the high strangeness of unexplained Earth mysteries. Ms. Howe has received local, national and international awards, including three regional Emmys, a national Emmy nomination and was an honored producer for medical and science programming in a WCVB-TV (ABC) Boston station Peabody (1976). Other award-winning productions are Poison in the Wind and A Sun Kissed Poison, which compared smog pollution in Los Angeles and Denver; Fire In The Water about hydrogen as an alternative energy source to fossil fuels (honored in New York City with a 1978 National Emmy Finalist for Community Service award). As Director of Special Projects at the KMGH-TV (CBS) station in Denver, Colorado, Linda received the Aviation & Space Writers Association Award for Writing Excellence in Television and the Colorado Florence Sabin Award for 'outstanding contribution to public health.' Linda earned a 1981 Chicago Film Festival Gold Award for best documentary to A Radioactive Water — an achievement recognized by Colorado's then-Governor Richard Lamm. Linda's investigations and TV broadcasts about environmental issues in Colorado were also recognized and honored by the Environmental Protection Agency with a Citizen Participation Award presented by actor and environmentalist Robert Redford at the Denver EPA headquarters on January 1, 1980. Following her air and water investigations from 1976 to 1979, Linda began in September 1979 to investigate the phenomenon of bloodless and trackless animal mutilations occurring across the U.S., Canada, and worldwide. Her documentary production 'A Strange Harvest' was broadcast on KMGH-TV as a 90-minute evening special on May 25, 1980, drawing the largest audience in the station's history for a locally produced documentary and earning her a Regional Emmy. During her travels from September 1979 to May 1980 to film mutilated animals in Wyoming, New Mexico, and Colorado, law enforcement and ranchers reported that perpetrators were non-human entities. In October 1979, Linda filmed a mutilated prize bull belonging to rancher C. E. Potts in Walsenburg, Colorado, documenting precise bloodless hide excisions untouched by natural predators. In June 1989, Linda Moulton Howe released 'An Alien Harvest – Further Evidence Linking Animal Mutilations and Human Abductions to Alien Life Forms,' the first of three books investigating government cover-ups of worldwide animal mutilations. An updated 2nd Edition was awarded Best Non-Fiction by the Southwest Book Association in December 2015. From 1991 to 2004, Linda produced and reported radio news for Coast to Coast AM and Dreamland hosted by Art Bell, continuing with host George Noory until February 2019. Other books include 'Glimpses of Other Realities, Volumes I and II' (focusing on military, civilian, and intelligence testimonies regarding alien intelligence) and 'Mysterious Lights and Crop Circles' (investigating crop formations from 1992 to 2002). Her website, Earthfiles.com, has received multiple honors including a WebAward for News Standard of Excellence, a W3 Silver Award, and the Encyclopaedia Britannica Award for Journalistic Excellence. Linda received the 2010 Courage In Journalism Award from the Paradigm Research Group (PRG) at the National Press Club. In 2010, she visited RAF Bentwaters/Woodbridge AFB for the 30th anniversary of the Rendlesham Forest incident for The History Channel's 'Ancient Aliens'. In June 2012, Linda traveled with geologist Robert Schoch, Ph.D., to Gobekli Tepe, Turkey, to investigate the 12,000-year-old archaeological site. In May 2013, she served as a journalist witness before former U.S. Congressional representatives at the PRG Citizen Hearing on Disclosure, presenting physical evidence and pathologist findings on high-heat, carbonless excisions in animal mutilations. In 2016, she received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Conscious Life Expo and 'Ancient Aliens', where she has been a regular featured contributor. She also contributes to The History Channel's 'The Unexplained'. Linda has traveled extensively for field research, including across Europe, Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Australia.
