The engineering capability to move a formed FRC plasmoid from its formation chamber into a separate confinement region. Successfully demonstrated on the FRX-C/T device, this capability is the architectural prerequisite for Magnetized Target Fusion (MTF) and the Compact Fusion Reactor, allowing the separation of the violent plasma creation phase from the compression or propulsion phase.
