Overview

The Advanced Aerospace Weapons Systems Application Program (AAWSAP) was a DIA-funded program (2007-2012, $22M) that commissioned 38 Defense Intelligence Reference Documents (DIRDs) covering advanced aerospace technologies including plasma weapons, fusion propulsion, wormholes, warp drive, and spacetime metric engineering.

The 12 Technical Areas

The DIA RFP HHM402-08-R-0211 (July 18, 2008) identified 12 technical areas:

1. Lift — anti-gravity and advanced lift concepts
2. Propulsion — advanced propulsion including fusion and plasma
3. Control — flight control for advanced vehicles
4. Armament (RF and DEW) — radio frequency and directed energy weapons
5. Signature Reduction — stealth and signature management
6. Materials — advanced materials for aerospace
7. Configuration/Structure — vehicle configuration
8. Power Generation — advanced power including compact fusion
9. Spatial/Temporal Translation — spacetime manipulation
10. Human Effects — effects on human observers
11. Human Interface — human-machine interface
12. Technology Integration — system integration

The inclusion of Armament and Spatial/Temporal Translation as explicit technical areas confirms that AAWSAP was studying weapons and spacetime manipulation, not just propulsion.

The 38 DIRDs

The 38 DIRDs cover:

• DIRD 2: Pulse-Power-Based Weaponry (direct weapons application)
• DIRD 9: Inertial Electrostatic Confinement Fusion (plasma confinement)
• DIRD 13: Warp Drive (spacetime manipulation)
• DIRD 15: Spacetime Metric Engineering (spacetime manipulation)
• DIRD 18: Traversable Wormholes (Davis WHIP physics)
• DIRD 19: Antigravity
• DIRD 30: Aneutronic Fusion Propulsion (fusion plasma)
• DIRD 38: High-Energy Laser Weapons (classified SECRET, withheld)

At least 13 of 38 DIRDs are directly or closely related to the plasma orb weapons physics chain.

AAWSAP represents the institutional bridge between:
