9. The UAP Connection

The connection between plasma orb weapons technology and the government's UAP (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena) disclosure movement is indirect but significant. The same personnel who studied plasma physics for the Air Force (Eric Davis) later advised the DIA's UAP investigation program. Government testimony and official statistics now provide quantitative data on UAP morphology — data that is consistent with, but does not prove, the plasma orb hypothesis.

9.1 AARO FY2025 Report

The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) published its FY2025 report on July 20, 2026, covering the period June 2, 2024 – May 30, 2025. This report provides the first official government statistics on UAP morphology:

• Total case holdings: 1,870 reports (largest official UAP database in history)
• New reports this period: 319 (284 during period, 35 from earlier)
• Resolved: 114 of 319
• Unresolved (insufficient data): 191
• Further analysis: 9
• Domain: 274 air, 44 space, 1 maritime

Morphology statistics (for cases with described morphology):

• 40% spheroidal (orb-shaped)
• 33% lights
• 73% combined (spheroidal + lights)
• 24.13% lacked morphology data (77 of 319)

Notably, 238 cases were resolved as satellite flares — a prosaic explanation for many "light" sightings. But 191 cases remain unresolved with insufficient data, and 9 are flagged for further analysis. The 40% spheroidal morphology is consistent with the plasma orb hypothesis but is not proof — spheroidal UAP could have many explanations, including balloons, drones, sensor artifacts, and natural phenomena.

9.2 AARO Director Senate Testimony (November 2024)

In November 19, 2024 Senate testimony, the AARO director stated that "the majority [of UAP shapes] have been lights or orbs." This is the strongest single piece of government testimony supporting the observation that orb-shaped UAP are the most common morphology. However, AARO's assessment is that these are predominantly prosaic phenomena (satellite flares, drones, balloons, sensor artifacts), not plasma weapons.

AARO's Historical Record Report (Volume I, March 8, 2024) found that interviewees "named authentic USG classified programs" but claims about reverse-engineering extraterrestrial technology are "inaccurate." This is consistent with the assessment that classified programs study advanced physics (including plasma physics), not extraterrestrial technology.

9.3 PURSUE Document Releases

The PURSUE (Presidential unsealing system) program has released five tranches of documents between May and August 2026:

The PURSUE releases total 375 files (212 documents, 166 video/image/audio files, 8,110 pages of extracted text) spanning 82 years. 66% of PURSUE files show "objects with extraordinary capabilities." The releases include FBI FD-302 firsthand witness interviews and declassified ODNI narratives.

9.4 The Intelligence Officer Orb Account (Late 2025)

A senior US intelligence officer's firsthand account of orbs chasing fighter jets (late 2025) is the strongest single firsthand military UAP orb report. The document (ODNI-UAP-D001, USPER Narrative, Senior USIC Official, DECLASSIFIED, PURSUE-028, UNRESOLVED) describes:

• Orange oval orbs with white/yellow centers
• Orbs chasing fighter jets at a Western US Test Range
• The observer is a currently serving senior USIC official

The described appearance (orange oval with white/yellow center) is consistent with ESTS plasma physics — a luminous sphere with a hot core. However, the account is a single observer's report and is classified as UNRESOLVED by the government.

9.5 The Submarine Transmedium Video (March 2022)

A submarine transmedium video (DOW-UAP-PR067, DVIDS 1007779, DOD_111720696, VIRIN 220325-D-D0360-4772) shows spherical objects entering and exiting water near a US submarine. The video was recorded on March 25, 2022, uploaded to classified networks in May 2024, and released in PURSUE Release 2 on May 22, 2026. Duration: 4 minutes 50 seconds (~290 seconds).

This is described as "the most anomalous piece of evidence" in the PURSUE releases. Spherical objects entering and exiting water without apparent disruption are difficult to explain with conventional technology. However, the video's resolution and context are limited, and no official assessment has confirmed the objects as plasma phenomena.

9.6 Green Fireballs — The Historical Evidence (1948–1950)

The oldest physical evidence in the investigation is the series of green fireball sightings near Sandia, New Mexico (1948–1950), documented in 116 pages of declassified reports covering 209 sightings. Key findings:

• February 16, 1949: Los Alamos conference on green fireballs (codenamed "Project Grudge"), attended by Dr. Edward Teller — who suggested the phenomenon "ought to be a material body — might be an electron phenomenon"
• Dr. Lincoln LaPaz (Director, Institute of Meteoritics, University of New Mexico) concluded the green fireballs were NOT natural meteors
• Dr. W.D. Crozier (New Mexico School of Mines) collected copper-bearing particles using rubeanic acid, including "three apparently perfect spherical cobalt-indication particles twelve microns in diameter" (July 26, 1949, Socorro)
• Green fireball color: ~5,218 Å (consistent with copper salts)
• LaPaz assessment: ~50% meteoric, ~50% likely US guided missiles or possibly USSR missiles from Urals

The perfectly spherical metallic particles suggest artificial processing, not natural meteoritic material. The copper/cobalt composition could be residue from early plasma experiments at Sandia/Kirtland — or genuinely anomalous material. Teller's attendance at the 1949 conference, 42 years before his FRC paper, establishes that his interest in anomalous aerial phenomena spans from 1949 to 1991.

9.7 The Pais Patents

The Salvatore Pais Navy patent series (2015–2018) has been cited as evidence of operational plasma orb technology. This assessment must be corrected:
